Comii allows public transport drivers in Mexico and Latin America to self-manage their distances between cars with real-time tracking of their geolocation and communicate with each other with a built-in radio.
Combii users can rely on innovative and stable technology, intuitive interfaces that facilitate their work and daily communication between operators. In this way many use cases are covered that previously had no technological solution in a mobile application.

Challenge

Passenger transport operators currently have no digital solution to do their job.
Outdated technology has made time and distance management a highly manual process, a major problem for transport companies. Carriers are forced to blindly rely on an operator to determine how far away they are from each other, a highly inefficient process that can now be self-managed to improve public transport operation processes.

Solution

We supported in UX consulting in the first stage of product development, interviewing and surveying 100 public transport drivers in Mexico, in order to understand, empathise and study the users first hand. Our cooperation is closely linked to the respective development teams and is characterised by a very agile and resource-saving mentality. In this way, we can ensure that we take the most sensible path for each feature in perfecting the user experience for a holistically intuitive experience. Because from the very beginning Combii placed great importance on a user-friendly user interface.
